Thirty artists from Northern Nevada, including Reno, Sparks and Carson City –several nationally known– will be featured at the 25th annual Reno Artisan Show and Sale November first and second at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Northern Nevada. Admission is free and twenty pieces of original art will be raffled off.

“It’s hard to believe we have been offering this event to the community for 25 years, says show co-chair Shelly Peinado. “In that time we have remained steadfast in presenting a variety of artistic media as well as price points to include most everyone’s interest and budget.

“We are very proud to be offering so much unique variety of art in this juried show,” says Peinado.

Special free kid’s art class:
A special drop-in watercolor workshop for children will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2nd, from 2 to 4 p.m. Local watercolorist Julie Sulahria, who has been in the show for many years, will offer her expertise with fun, take-home projects for kids of all ages.

MasterCard and Visa will be accepted for all purchases at the show. The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is located at 780 Del Monte Lane in Reno.

This year’s show is dedicated to the memory of Jim McCormick, chair of the UNR Art Department, a local artist who exhibited across the country, and one of the founders of this show.
