Keeping the Faith!

UUFNN 2021/2022 Stewardship Campaign

What a year our Fellowship has had!

In these challenging times, we’ve been blessed with the strong leadership and inspiration of Reverend Karen Foster. In spite of the pandemic, we managed to keep in touch, care for one another, enjoy a wide range of UUFNN programming and events, and maintain our community service and justice works!

And a huge shout out to our amazing technical team, who worked their magic every Sunday morning so we could attend innovative and meaningful worship services via Zoom.

Your generosity, in time, effort and contributions, have made it possible for UUFNN to continue to thrive, even while we are apart. In 2020, together we reached our pledge goal of $325,000. That made it possible for us to manage the increased expenses and reduced income that resulted from the Pandemic. Thank you for investing generously and meaningfully in our community.

UUFNN is now more relevant and important than ever, and your support – in time, talent and treasure – are what make it all possible.

We ask you to help us achieve our shared goals for the next fiscal year, which begins July 1, 2021. Those goals include: (1) Return to worship and meeting in our building as soon as it is safe to do so; (2) Resume our programs and social justice initiatives in person; (3) grow our membership; (4) Deepen our spiritual commitment to Unitarian Universalism; and (5) upgrade and expand our website. Our pledge goal for 2021 is $335,000.

Please join us for our annual Stewardship service and celebration on Sunday, February 14 at 10:30 A.M. – on Zoom, of course – as we kick off our stewardship campaign for 2021. What better day to show our love and appreciation for our Fellowship and each other than Valentine’s Day! Although we cannot share a delicious, in-person brunch this year, like all of our Sunday services over the last year, this one will include something special we think you’ll enjoy.

Below you will find directions on completing and returning your pledge forms quickly and easily. And at the end of the February 14 service there will be breakout rooms on Zoom, where you can ask questions and get one-on-one assistance.

Please contact any of the Stewardship Committee members if you have questions or need more information, or send us an email at stewardship@uufnn.org.

Thank you so much for your support of our Fellowship, each other, and all we do together to “Keep the Faith”, as we move into our future with courage and confidence. Your pledge will empower UUFNN to continue and grow even in these challenging times.

How to Complete and Send Your Pledge Forms

Timing:  Feel free to make your 2021/2022 pledge any time; there is no need to wait until the Stewardship Service on February 14th.  Or if you prefer, make your pledge during the Stewardship service as many people will be doing.  Please do make sure your 2021/2022 pledge gets to us no later than March 15th as we need to know the total amount of pledges in order to plan the 2021/2022 budget.

Forms:  The Stewardship Campaign includes three documents: (1) The Pledge Form for making your pledge; (2) the Vanco Form for your instructions on making payments; and (3) the Fair Share Contribution Guide, which provides guidance – not requirements – on possible pledge levels.

  6. Rename the downloaded forms with your name and the document name – For example:  “Smith – Pledge Form” and “Smith – “Vanco Form.”
