Think Locally, Act Globally — Partnering with the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC)

For almost 80 years UUSC has been securing and protecting the most fundamental rights of people who are often marginalized by more mainstream justice organizations. It began as a daunting endeavor to save Jews and other vulnerable people from the Nazis, and today serves thousands of people in more than 30 countries . . . including the US. Gaia Brown and Lloyd Rogers will share their experience of traveling with UUSC to the Balkans last spring to meet with some of the partner organizations that are heroically working to advance the rights of immigrants. UUFNN members have in the past been active partners in UUSC’s global endeavor, and we can do so again as we live the values of our faith.
